IN-DEPTH;
Appearance • Luke appears a few years older than he really is, clearly more serious, brooding and worrisome compared to a regular teenager. This is mainly because of his training as a soldier of the Empire, as well as his tendency to keep things to himself. He stands at 5'8", with blonde hair and expressive blue eyes. He wears mostly black, and his posture indicates that he's been through rigid training. Despite all this, however, he still has a boyish charm. And because of his deviation, he has a normal right hand.

Personality • Luke is often impatient, looking ahead to the future with little regard for his present surroundings. He's more like his father than mother; he's impulsive and reckless, and cares little for his own personal safety. But he's empathetic to his friends and would go to great lengths to help them, and his loyalty and devotion to his comrades is virtually unshakable, albeit misplaced. Because he works for the Empire, he advocates their ideals and is serious about his role as its servant. However, he's a little emotionally unstable, brought about by a traumatic event in his childhood. He's an angry kid, but he's never been taught to let it out, so it's all inside him, merely waiting to explode. He's also seeking the warmth and comfort that only a mother can provide, and will soften up considerably to those who treat him in a motherly fashion.

Abilities/Strengths • Luke is very Force-sensitive, which expected from someone of the Skywalker bloodline. He's empathic, and while he hasn't been using his Force abilities much, he's able to use his telepathic and telekinetic abilities without trouble or training. He uses Form V (Shien/Djem So) in lightsaber combat, which is similar to his father's own style. He also learned covert espionage and assassination skills during his training with the Imperial Remnant army, and that's without using the Force.

He is intensely loyal, as long as you win him over to your side. He also has no problems with authority and showing respect to those in positions of power - unless, of course, you're a Jedi.

Weaknesses • Luke is an emotionally troubled teenager, and somewhat unstable. He may be calm and reasonable one moment, but angry and hateful in the next. Also, having grown up in a military environment, he tends to believe that things should be done according to procedures and plans, insisting on doing everything "by the book". He is also close-minded; he has difficulty understanding and accepting a theory or idea which is different from his own perspective. This explains his general hatred and antagonism towards the Jedi.

When he is under stress, he falls into "catastrophe mode", where he sees nothing but all the possibilities of what could go wrong, losing the ability to see things calmly and reasonably. From there, he'll either act drastically, or depress himself with his visions of doom. And while he has a lot of potential, his withdrawal from the Force all those years ago has prevented his growth as a Force user.

Notable Possessions • A lightsaber with a red crystal, given to him by his father, and a blaster.
HISTORY;
Luke's history deviates from canon as early as Revenge of the Sith. There was never a holo recording of Anakin slaughtering the younglings in the Jedi Temple, leaving the identity of the new Sith Lord, Darth Vader, shrouded in mystery. And before leaving for Mustafar, Anakin went to see Padmé and told her that he was going there to deal with the Separatists and end the war, but she begged him to run away with her instead and raise their child in peace. He agreed.

They fled to Alderaan. Padmé gave birth to twins - Luke and Leia - soon after, and with the help of Bail, the children were safely hidden. Obi-Wan and the surviving Jedi later joined them on the planet; together, they set out a plan to deal with the Separatists in Mustafar, and then Palpatine in Coruscant. It took time and a lot of planning, but it worked. Despite being a master of the Force, the combined strength of the Jedi was a bit too much for the Emperor to handle, and he made the mistake of trusting Anakin - Darth Vader - to be on his side, the Sith's side, all throughout. But Anakin wasn't. He pretended that he was still with the Jedi and fought by their side, but only to overthrow Palpatine.

After Palpatine's death and an epic battle against the Empire, the New Republic was born. Padmé was voted as Chancellor, and the rebuilding began. All was well for a while; in fact, Luke and Leia were eventually brought to Coruscant to live and grow up with their parents. However, Anakin was still not made Jedi Master despite his valuable contribution to the war, and he was instead facing numerous controversies. Being married and having children was among those issues, considering that attachments were forbidden for Jedi, and that by being Padmé's husband, he was in the position to directly extend the Jedi's influence to the Republic. Another was his 'closeness' to the late Emperor, leading many to suspect his intentions. He was placed under investigation, which ultimately led to the discovery that he was responsible for the assault on the Jedi Temple, and that he had tampered with the Temple's security recordings in order to conceal his crime. Chaos ensued at this shocking revelation, which led to Anakin proclaiming that he was Darth Vader and kidnapping his own children. He brought them to Mustafar, and while there he was visited by high-ranking officers of the fallen Empire, soldiers who wished to lend him their strength to crush the New Republic. Thus Darth Vader once again rose, leading the Imperial Remnant to war.

Obi-Wan, Padmé and a rescue team composed of Republic soldiers and some Jedi then arrived on Mustafar. Padmé wanted to reclaim the twins, while Obi-Wan was sent to personally destroy the monster Anakin had become. The epic battle of Mustafar in canon took place at this point; Anakin and Obi-Wan dueled. Despite being defeated by the Jedi, the Sith Lord managed to cheat death and survive. On the other hand, Padmé and her men were able to rescue Leia, but they were all forced to escape without Luke. Padmé vowed to save him someday.

Luke was only five then, and the experience had left him scarred. Emotionally traumatized at having been 'left behind' and witnessing his father's horrifying defeat, he pulled away from the Force, refusing to use it or follow its callings, because he feared that it would bring more trouble in his life. It was later on discovered that he was very Force-sensitive, and that all the bloodshed, pain and suffering during the war also compelled him to cut himself off from the Force so he couldn't 'feel' them. It was for this reason that Anakin saved Luke's Force-training for a later time, but he was trained intensively in other ways. Along with some others and a girl named Mara Jade, Luke was trained alongside the Imperial Remnant army, learning covert espionage and assassination skills.

Years passed. When Luke was 19, the Republic managed to steal secret plans to the Remnant's secret weapon, the Death Star. He was sent retrieve the plans - destroy them if he had to - and in this mission, he came face-to-face with his sister Leia after 14 years. Only that Leia was working for the Republic, and was no less a Jedi. Having been brainwashed by Anakin that Padmé and Leia had abandoned and betrayed them, Luke refused to listen to his sister and captured her. When she refused to 'return' to them, Luke opened himself to the Force also for the first time in 14 years and used it to probe her mind for something significant. Finding what he was looking for, he ordered for the destruction of Alderaan, the world that Leia had come to consider as her home.

After the incident, Anakin decided that Luke was ready to learn the ways of the Sith. Unfortunately, those lessons would have to wait, because it was at that time that Luke was drafted.
